Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal have reopened negotiations to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, according to French outlet L’Équipe.
Following their quarter-final exit at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where they lost 2-1 to Fluminense, the Riyadh-based club is pushing with ambitious transfer plans as they aim to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

While French defender Theo Hernandez is expected to arrive from AC Milan, Al-Hilal have also reignited their pursuit of Nigerian striker Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray.
The Turkish champions are eager to retain the 26-year-old, but now face stiff competition from the deep-pocketed Saudi club.
“Negotiations with Victor Osimhen (Napoli) have resumed, and Saudi officials are keen to convince the Nigerian, who has just spent a season on loan at Galatasaray,” reports L’Équipe.
Osimhen’s future remains uncertain amid growing interest from multiple clubs. While Galatasaray are pushing to make his loan move permanent, Juventus are also monitoring the situation as part of their long-term striker search.
With Napoli holding firm on their €75 million release clause, the coming days could prove decisive in determining Osimhen’s next destination.
However, Al-Hilal’s financial firepower could tilt the race in their favour.
