…Backs Super Eagles against Zimbabwe
Carloha Nigeria, the authorised dealer of Chery vehicles in Nigeria, said it plans to present the Chery Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the Super Eagles’ upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday.
As a result, Chery will recognise the best-performing Super Eagles player during the match and will give immediate recognition to the player after the game.
The recognition would be presented by senior representatives from Carloha and Chery International, as part of the firm’s commitment to supporting Nigerian football.
The initiative is part of Carloha’s efforts to promote excellence, reward sportsmanship, and deepen its connection with the Nigerian football community.
“We congratulate the Super Eagles on their remarkable victory against Rwanda. This triumph is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and persistence that define our national team—qualities that resonate deeply with the Chery brand. Football is more than just a sport; it is a unifying force that brings Nigerians together, and Chery is honoured to be part of this journey,” said Sola Adigun, managing director of Carloha Nigeria.
He said Chery as a brand is committed to strengthening its presence in Nigeria by offering world-class automobiles that cater to the needs of our consumers.
“With the Super Eagles partnership, we are not only supporting football but also reinforcing our vision of mobility, performance, and progress in Nigeria,” he said.
Carloha’s involvement in the upcoming match underscores its position as a proud partner of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and a leading advocate for national pride, talent, and performance. The company continues to champion initiatives by using its platform to support the Super Eagles and celebrate the spirit of the game.
“As a brand that identifies deeply with excellence, passion, and performance, we see the Chery MVP Award as more than recognition—a celebration of everything the Super Eagles represent,” Adigun added.
The Chery MVP is one of several activations planned by Carloha for the March 25 qualifier. Top officials from Chery International will also attend, reinforcing the brand’s long-term commitment to Nigerian football and unwavering support for the Super Eagles on the road to victory.
