AI analytics is changing how businesses identify and engage with potential clients. Chidinma Obiekwe, a tech sales and marketing expert, says the technology is helping teams improve efficiency and results by using data to focus on clients with the highest potential.

In an interview, Chidinma shared how she uses AI to grow revenue, automate routine tasks, and improve retention. Her recent projects in the real estate and gaming sectors show how AI tools can support strategic decision-making and deliver measurable outcomes.

According to Chidinma, AI analytics helps pinpoint high-value clients by analysing vast datasets, including purchase history, behaviour, and market trends, to identify patterns with precision. “In my fintech project, I used AI to segment leads, targeting real estate and gaming sectors, which led to a 35% revenue increase and 40% client acquisition,” she revealed.

Chidinma also shared a notable example of how AI analytics helped her win a major client in the real estate sector. “AI flagged a real estate firm as a top prospect, enabling a tailored pitch that won their business,” she said. This approach, she noted, works across sectors by focusing on data-driven insights to prioritise clients with the highest potential.

But AI analytics is just one aspect of how technology is transforming the sales landscape. Chidinma also highlighted the role of AI in automating repetitive tasks, freeing sales teams to focus on strategic work like building relationships and closing deals. “In a project, I used AI to automate outreach, doubling response rates and cutting manual work by 20%,” she said. This allowed her team to focus on crafting personalised strategies, boosting retention by 30% for a gaming client.

Chidinma put AI analytics and automation to the test, targeting two seemingly disparate sectors: real estate and gaming. She fed the system data on customer behaviours, transaction histories, and market dynamics. The AI sifted through the noise, identifying patterns that human analysis might have missed.

With over 10 years of experience in sales, digital marketing, and client relationship management, Chidinma has consistently exceeded sales targets and delivered high-level service standards.

To stay competitive in today’s fast-evolving sales landscape, Chidinma emphasised the importance of embracing AI to enhance efficiency and insights while keeping human relationships central. “Start small, test one AI strategy, like automated lead scoring, and continuously learn through certifications and communities like RevGenius,” she advised.

Chidinma’s journey into AI began with a realisation: the traditional methods of identifying high-value clients were no longer enough in today’s fast-paced, data-driven world. Determined to stay ahead, she earned Google and Microsoft AI certifications in 2024, equipping herself with cutting-edge knowledge in predictive analytics and generative AI. These tools became her secret weapon, enabling her to analyse vast datasets—purchase histories, behavioural patterns, and market trends—with unparalleled precision.

For Chidinma, the key to staying competitive is clear: embrace AI to enhance efficiency and insights, but never lose sight of the human relationships that drive success. “Start small,” she advises, reflecting on her own journey. “Test one AI strategy, like automated lead scoring, as I did in Lagos.

“Generative AI crafts instant, tailored emails, saving time while boosting engagement,” she said. “Hyper-personalisation uses deep data insights to create unique customer experiences, opening new market opportunities.”

“Learn continuously—through certifications, communities like RevGenius, and real-world application. AI’s ability to predict trends and personalise outreach will keep you ahead.”
