TikTok has unveiled the global rollout of its artist analytics platform, TikTok for Artists, following a two-month beta testing period with a select group of artists. However, this launch excluded all countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, leaving artists in the region without access to these new tools.
According to TikTok, the new platform is now accessible in 26 countries, including major markets like the Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. The platform will be rolling out in other countries soon, TikTok says.

Before this global expansion, the platform underwent beta testing in April across five markets: Australia, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea.
TikTok for Artists provides a suite of tools designed to empower musicians, including daily analytics dashboards for tracking performance metrics like view counts, engagement rates, and follower demographics; content insights to identify tracks sparking user-generated content and monitor post completion rates; and a pre-release campaign tool for promoting upcoming albums, allowing fans to save them directly to Spotify or Apple Music for immediate access upon release.
According to reports, these features mirror analytics services from platforms like Spotify for Artists and SoundCloud for Artists.

To use TikTok for Artists, musicians must have a certified TikTok Artist Account. Once certified, they can grant access to their teams and record labels and utilise step-by-step guides provided by TikTok to maximise the platform’s features.
Tracy Gardner, TikTok’s Global Head of Music Business Development, said, “TikTok is already well known for being the world’s best platform for music discovery and promotion, and with the launch of TikTok for Artists, all tiers of artists will gain insights on TikTok that they can use to take their careers to a whole new level.”
