Galatasaray will pay €75m as the release clause value, but is negotiating payment terms for 5 years. Contract ready since Sunday; until June 2028 plus option.”
This aligns with a report from BusinessDay on Tuesday, which stated Osimhen had already verbally agreed to personal terms with Galatasaray for a permanent move from Napoli, marking a significant development in one of this summer’s most closely followed transfer sagas.
The 26-year-old, who spent a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists in 41 matches, has already agreed to personal terms with the Turkish giants.
Osimhen’s contract will run until June 2028, with an option for a further year.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu also confirmed the latest progress on his X handle, stating that both clubs have agreed on the transfer framework, with Galatasaray set to finalise the payment structure.
“Galatasaray and Napoli have agreed on mutual terms for the transfer of Victor Osimhen, and the details of the contract between the two clubs have been discussed. It seems all done now.”
He further added that Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu will meet with Napoli to finalise Osimhen’s transfer to Turkey.
“Today (Wednesday, July 9), Abdullah Kavukcu will meet with Napoli to finalise the transfer and payment plan,” Sabuncuoglu posted on X.
