Urban Planet has broken ground on its new residential project, Urban Court, during a live ceremony held on Friday in Asaba. The project marks the company’s latest effort to provide tech-enabled housing in Nigeria’s southern region.

The event drew stakeholders, community leaders, investors, and media professionals, signalling a major milestone in Urban Planet’s real estate development journey.

According to the company, Urban Court will deliver smart and secure homes aimed at professionals, families, and investors seeking modern residential options in Delta State. The estate will feature two- three- and four-bedroom duplexes, short-let apartments, solar power infrastructure, fibre-optic internet, 24-hour surveillance, and green spaces.

“This is not just about building homes. It’s about building a future where innovation, affordability, and sustainability go hand in hand,” said Mr. Humphrey, Managing Director of Urban Planet.

Urban Court’s location in Asaba provides access to key facilities, including hospitals, schools, and commercial centres. Urban Planet stated that this makes the development suitable for both residential living and long-term investment.

“This is a secure ecosystem for young families, professionals, and forward-thinking investors,” added Mr. Humphrey, Head of Development at Urban Planet.

Each home at Urban Court will come with verified title documents, including a Certificate of Occupancy. The company says construction will follow a fast-track model, with the first set of homes expected within 12 to 15 months.

Flexible payment plans are available, with buyers able to secure units with a deposit from ₦10 million. Further payments can be spread over a period of (12) months.

Urban Planet emphasised its commitment to transparency and technology. It aims to create homes that offer more than shelter—providing comfort, connection, and a sense of community.

“Urban Court is a future-proof solution to an age-old problem. Owning a home shouldn’t be complex, slow, or unsafe. With us, it’s clear, fast, and secure,” Mr. Humphrey said.

Urban Planet called on professionals, newlyweds, and Nigerians in the diaspora to explore the investment opportunities available at Urban Court.

The project reflects Urban Planet’s approach to development, driven by customer needs and a focus on delivering infrastructure that supports long-term growth.
